Currently, the company has five business areas; shipping & offshore, retail, real estate, cruise vacations, and financial investments. The group of companies is managed by AWILHELMSEN MANAGEMENT AS on behalf of AWILHELMSEN AS.

AWILHELMSEN started in 1939 as a bulk transportation company. Later it moved into car transportation before establishing the cruise company Royal Caribbean Cruises in 1969. Over the next decades the company further diversified its business and has today become a sector-focused investment company.

The main goal of AWILHELMSEN AS has been consistent since 1939: creating value for owners, investors, customers, business associates, employees, and the various communities in which the company operates.
